  • Our LA River plant package thrives within a concrete jungle and is designed to contribute to the re-wilding of LA. LA’s mighty river was treated as a giant sewer drainage by city planners until the late 90s. rapidly returning to it’s original state as a micro region of lush plantlife.

The LA River’s return to nature invites in wild rose, indigenous iris, blue-eyed grass and the flu-fighting force that is Sambucus Mexicana. Such majesty is possible thanks to the rich soils residing beneath the LA River as well as due to the LA river revitalization project. The LA River Box produces a shade-partial landscape that adapts to seasonal flooding and likes a little extra richness. While this garden is thirstier than other plant packages, it grows back after drought.
