How it works

First step: Surveying the community and the most successful drought tolerant yards and landscapes in your region. Through studying the designs and plant communities that both look the most successful and are thriving in your local climatic conditions we come to a clear understanding of what plants and forms you wish to promote in the outdoor environments of your city.

Through a collective feedback process we build a portfolio of prototype landscapes that are then modified to meet department planning goals. We construct elevation visuals that are relevant to the most popular architectural styles of your community. And that are pollinator supporting, drought resistant and low maintenance. We design plantings thick enough to shade soil in order to preserve water storage capacity in the landscape. We include passive rainwater harvesting features. Plant diversity helps ensure an attractive aesthetic for as much of the year as possible.

The final result is a series of standardized pdf landscape design plans that can be distributed to your community along with a link to fullfillment service (plant delivery) options.
