Description
Lippia nodiflora / repens spreading groundcover flats. 8 Flat minimum order. Delivery fees apply for orders of less than 12 flats. 2-week minimum delivery time.
This true native California succulent groundcover is a great lawn alternative for low-water and warmer climate applications. Lippia nodiflora is very drought-tolerant. After its first birthday, water it deeply for a day or 2 every other week in summer to irrigate properly. Spreading and pollinator friendly. Reseeding can happen freely in certain climates. Photos show Lippia nodiflora in the peak of summer in a hot inland climate and in spring after 3 weeks establishment.
Installation
Flats are divided into plugs of 16 or more. Plugs should be spaced 7" apart for a 4-8 week fill-in when temperatures are warm and 6-16 week fill-in when temps cool. In warm seasons planting at 12" spacing is adequate or even up to 24" if you're not in a hurry and ok with regular weeding until its established.

Refunds at Time of Delivery

One gallon plants will be small and immature at time of delivery. The majority of native plants adapt and grow very quickly once properly transplanted in well prepared soil. A 5-10% loss of plant life is not uncommon due to the shock of transplant. Adequate drainage is essential to the health and survival of drought tolerant plants.
